Environmental Training Services

Logos Smaller  launched its highly successful training practice in 2006-2007 in response to service delivery needs identified by international humanitarian organizations operating in Iraq and funded by the US Government.

 

Over the past 14 months, Logos Smaller  has successfully completed seven training workshops in Amman, Jordan in support of US Government – USAID funded humanitarian assistance programs for Iraq –

 

1- Proper Medical Waste Disposal in Iraq to Protect Public Health and the Environment –for USAID-CHF-Iraq. Jun 23rd – Jun 29th, 2007

2- Building Bridges Training Workshop in Amman, Jordan – March 19th – March 24, 2007 for the USAID-Iraq funded Community Action Program. Training focused on the delivery of municipal solid waste management and operations with additional lecturers on Advocacy & Conflict Mitigation. Twenty-seven Iraqis representing community associations, local government and local NGOs participated in this training.

3- Public Water Supply Systems & Management – March 13th – 18th, 2007, for USAID-CHF-Iraq.

4- Environmental Technologies & Service Delivery for Water Management & Solid Waste, Feb 18th –  Feb 22nd, 2007, for USAID-CHF-Iraq.  Training for Iraqi officials and local NGO representatives .

5- Workshop on Protecting Public Water Supply & Solid Waste Management, Dec 6th – Dec 11th, 2006, for USAID-CHF-Iraq.

6- Workshop on Protecting Public Water Supply & Hazardous Waste Management, Nov 20th – Nov 25th, 2006, for USAID-CHF-Iraq.

7- Workshop on Protecting Public Water Supply & Solid Waste Management Operations, Sep 24th – Sep 28th, 2006 for USAID-CHF-Iraq.

 

Logos Smaller can tailor training curriculum and training sessions to your specific needs, and incorporate appropriate site visits to facilities in Jordan or throughout the Middle East to provide a comprehensive understanding of subjects or operations.
